Andrea Mitchell interviews Representative Peter King (R-NY) about the controversial election in NY-23. King believes the tea-bagger movement in NY is an "aberration" and unique simply because of Scozafava selection by Republicans. It is interesting to note that many Republicans (career Republicans) did not wish to run for this seat because of it being redistricted in 2010, and by the 2012 election cycle NY-23 will no longer exist. Further, it appears that many Washington Republicans are in severe denial over the grassroots movements on both the left and the right.

Better get off that fence, Petey or you could end up like DeDe. NY23 an "isolated case"? I think not! You haven't seen anything yet You mention a "real grass roots movement out there" - yes, "can you hear us now?" Someone should've told you voting party over principle is out! "hope the Rep party can work w/ the grassroots movement,.. con't relationship with Mike Long"How stupid do you think we are? The line in the sand has been drawn by AMERICANS &Reps and Dems are on the wrong side of it!
