  • Dave hates lars.....

  • Marty Friedman is purely a musician he wants to learn how to play everything he wants to learn how to do everything on the guitar. Dave Mustaine is my idol as well but he wants to play metal not anything else. I disagree that Megadeth is a pop metal band Risk... I guess. But a great album nonetheless. It sounds to me like Dave is bitter about Marty leaving.

  • Dave must confess marty gave megadeth the complexity and that distinctive 90's sounding. He put their music to another level. And Dave must open his eyes as a musician that marty makes really nice music in japan.Im sure they had great times in these 10 years and he knows how much better than him marty is.So at least he must stop mocking him about the way he talks or what he does.Marty is 1000 better than dave as guitarist and a person.

  • EVERYONE can be an asshole.

  • Dave Mustaine has always just wanted to be on the radio, that's as far as his ambitions go.

Marty Friedman left because there was no room for growth any more. He was playing more technical music at 16. If he wanted to play pop music he could. Instead he's in Japan playing something so few hear about beside other musicians, the Japanese, and avid fans of Marty Friedman. He's an actual musician, he wants to grow, and Megadeth is in the past. You don't see him talking shit about Dave.

  • Dave doesn't realize how fucking lucky he was that Marty played in Megadeth. Marty really lifted it to the next level of complexity.

  • I think that marty's decision to quit was a good choice. Megadeth didnt become pop and marty made some absolutely fantastic albums.

  • @Geardudes By the way..marty doest play pop...he plays lot of geners...including pop AND including metal...

while dave only can play metal...there you can see who's a better musician.

  • @iowen916 When i listen to Lucretia, i just cant stand...i listen marty's solo and then i just stop the music...when i listen to tornado of souls, the part i enjoy the best is the solo....when i listen to hangar 18, i just think abour marty doing that amzing stuff...

I mean, Dave wrtoe the riff and that stuff but marty gave vitality to those songs .i think 90% of the fans think that marty was the best guitarist of Megadeth but Dave tries to say "neh! he was just another nerd! i am the leader!"

  • Chris Poland for the win!

  • @SandNBones Well he says that Chris Poland can play circles around him and that hes an amazing guitarist and he has said the same of everyone else. But Marty couldnt have never writen Rust in Peace? Nobody could have wrote that awesome suff that Dave wrote in the the 80's and 90's. Best riffs in metal history and best records.

  • @rampage222555 Its enter the sandman smooth jazz not master of puppets. Sorry my bad.
