"MORNING NOIR," a short film written and directed by high school student Adam Turkel
Plot: It was supposed to be a normal morning for Owen, a teenage boy living in a dorm at some boarding school. But soon after waking up, he realizes that his cell phone has gone missing, and he is the only one who can solve the case. His average day quickly turns into a film noir sequence of events as he attempts to uncover what happened to his invaluable phone. Owen investigates the crime scene that is his bedroom and interrogates suspects, all while wearing a fedora hat.
