Sophie's P.O.V.
Today has been an average day. I stayed home with Mom, while Kevin, Nick, Joe, and Dad all went to interviews, photoshoots, and other boring things my brothers do. Well i cant really say that they're boring, i've never been to any except a family one.
I walked downstairs into the living room where Alex was sitting alone. The Tv was on, but it didnt look like she was watching it.
"Hey, Al." I sunk down next to her on the couch.
"Hey.." She sounded expressionless.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Just waiting for my boyfriend to come home.." She sighed.
"Oh." I looked at the Tv. Of course, they were talking about my brothers. "Wanna go to the mall?"
She looked over at me and smiled. I was really jealous of her. She was so beautiful and I was just, i dont know, ugh...ugly.
"Sure."
We walked to the mall. Yes, walked. Cameras flashed all around us and everyone was screaming her name and asking who i was.
Did anyone know me? Seriously, my own brothers are freakin famous and no one knows who i am!
"You ok Sophie?" She asked me as i crumpled the flyer of my brothers in my hand.
"Oh, yeah im fine. Cooler than ever. The coolest." I tried to put on a good smile, but it came out fake.
"Right..Sophie. If you want some attention, ask your brothers to take you with them. I know they wouldnt mind. They're sweet guys."
"They are, but its not attention that i want. It's..well...i just want to be known at least as their sister. I mean, i sing too, but no one in my family ever cared except Nick. And he tried, but cant help me."
She sighed and walked up to another poster of my brothers.
"Look at them. Do you really want your face plastered everywhere?"
"Uh, i really wouldnt care." I shook my head at her.
"Trust me. You would." She took out her camera. "Smile."
She held the camera out in front of us and snapped a picture. The photo came out at the bottom.
"Whats this for?"
"Just watch."
She walked over to the camera guy yelling at her and handed him the photo. She walked back to me grinning.
"Why did you do that?"
"Now, you will be known. I told him you are Sophie Tan....uh.. Jonas, the Jonas Brothers sister and that you are one of my very best friends."
She giggled and we linked arms. She was about to say something else as my last name, i wonder why?
"You didnt have to, but thanks." I grinned widely.
"Anytime."
We walked around for a long time and then decided it was best to just go home. I was tired and im sure she was too. And plus, Joe was home now, and im sure they would want to go in his room and cuddle or do whatever they do. Man, I needed a boyfriend.
We got home and my brothers were packing their belongings.
"Where are you guys going?" I asked Kevin as he ran by me with Frankie over his shoulder.
"Tour.....with.....Demi...." He plopped Frankie down on the couch and came back up to me. "I dont think you can come...sorry."
"Oh..ok.." I felt rejection wash through me again as Kevin said that.
I hated when i couldnt go anywhere.
"Dont feel left out, Sophie. Uh..well Alex is going, but you have other friends to hang out with." Kevin smiled and then walked away.
I swear i was not part of this family. When Kevin smiled he was too cute, all of them were. When i smiled i was the ugliest thing in the world.
I sighed and Nick wrapped his arms around me, resting his head on my shoulder.
"Mom, has something to tell you. She's pretty upset, so i dont think it's good." He sighed and released me. Kissing me on the cheek and saying
goodbye.
"Bye..." I whispered and watched him walk away.
For some reason i had always liked Nick. I mean, he's my brother, yes, but i really dont think we're blood related. The timing just isn't right for Mom to have me right after Joe.
I sighed and walked into the kitchen looking for Mom. Dad was standing there too and he didnt look to happy either...
