Egypt-Israel gas deal sparks anger - 9 Jun 08

Egypt sits on the world's sixth largest gas reserves.

The resource is also bringing in lucrative contracts with Syria and Jordan.

But a deal to pipe gas to Israel is sparking angry reaction against the Egyptian government.

Since this, Israel has discovered the largest gas reserves in the Middle East in Israeli waters. Soon Israel will be the number one gas exporter in the Mediterranean.

Egypt's reserve of natural gas is 77trillion (and we are exporting ) The USA reserve is much more and they are importing .

We must not export gas neither to israel nor to any other country.
