The Portland/Vancouver Metro Area 2-1-1 Call Center has seen an increase in calls from first time callers. The economic crisis has triggered a jump in calls from those seeking social services for the first time. KPTV/FOX 12 (Portland, OR) films the 2-1-1 call center and speaks with the Exec. Director, Jeri Shumate and a regular 2-1-1 caller from Portland, Kay.
