this is still dual slot card. would have been great if it didn't come with the third dvi output so it could be single slot card.

SO.......why is this card not sold? Where the hell can it be purchased? Is this just another EVGA baloney experiment? The EVGA 590 Classified I just purchased runs hotter than my furnace.

im so sick of people who rag on the 590 because they cant afford it. its like who cares if 2 580s in sli are faster, thats double the heat and and double the amount of space taken. and it isnt even much faster. and im really sick of the people who say 2 580s are better and dont own them or couldnt even afford them, its like why the hell are you putting your 2 cents in then?

it's dual 580 clocked at 603MHz. Need to remind you that the temperatures of the standard 590 cooler is way too high running furmark
below benchmark for 2x GTX 570 (ref) vs 1x GTX 590 (ref) (dual underclocked 580)
the GTX 590 does have a potential if clocked at higher speed but the card has too many worries to even think about overclocking

@PatrickHandojo Incorrect. The 590 is two 580 cores, just underclocked. I'm fairly certain it will out perform 570's in sli.
