@zzeulb Agreed. Many on American Idol that do not win are the ones who deserve it! I've seen at least 6+ that deserved the win but did not get it. Has a lot to do with bias in the voting. Oh well! At least they get national (and world, eventually) recognition by just being on the show so the big songwriters can contact them if they like them, just like David Foster did with a few of them (Michael Johns), also including Katharine McPhee, whom also performed in this show seen here. :-)

He did it so well, it's like he was the one that was meant for this song to begin with! I love it! I always play this song on my guitar! Very beautiful song!

She's a beauty was originally done by Fee Waybill of The Tubes fame from the bay area in the 70's. David Foster was the producer for the Tubes for 2 albums.

It's amazing how David Foster helps striving, talented artists a chance to be exposed with him backing them up with an incredible band. What a dream for any musician. Burt Bacharach did the same thing. We would of never heard of Dionne Warwick. David, you're great! I'm a writer myself (keyboards) and am inspired by all your music.
