From Street Dogs 1st album Savin Hill

Loser, some times I feel, but I know it's not real
I've told myself this a million times before
Time and time again, I try to see things 'til the end
But sometimes something seems to hold me right back to the ground

Over and over again, I think of what it could have been
If I had kept my head on straight and out of the clouds
This feeling inside of me, nowhere left to hide
It's like a bomb waiting to explode inside of me

You've got to stand up for yourself
Don't rely on no one else
Only you know where you stand in life
Go after your dreams
It's easier than it seems
Only you know where you stand in life

Take some time to figure out just what it's all about
And keep on holding on to what's dear to you
I think that in the end what it comes to my friend
Is to enjoy life and to keep on holding on and on

  • If you know old Dropkick and new then there is no dispute, I think Cuntios has no idea what he's talking about. But hey man thatnks for the vid. Facebook fag

  • @Eggpan123 dude i new all along they credit them in the album i just hat arguing on youtube so i let people think shit that isnt true

  • it is ken casey. he and mike had a falling out but they have been friends since they were kids- hence the song 2 Angry Kids off the state of grace album- mike did leave dropkick to become a firefighter cuz that was a lifelong dream. he formed street dogs a couple years later cuz he missed music so much. street dogs are a great fuckin band and underrated. if you like this song, listen to all of their stuff. you wont be disappointed!

  • @sen401 huh that makes sense as for the street dogs i found them through listening to the murphys but i think i prefer the streetdogs now what can i say mikes voice is the best and the music is eaven a bit better

  • ..... i dont think ken is on this song.... and that is due to the fact that the dog and the dropkicks dont get along very well

  • @prendyjr oh and Johnny Rioux is also or aleast was up untill recently Murphys tour manager

  • Oh fuck yeah! I love Ken, such a beast!

  • street dogs are playing with the Murphys at Fenway,

  • NICE!!! Cool to hear them singin together. Id never heard this song before, but have 2 of the dogs albums. Awesome to hear all three voices together!!

  • @prendyjr Sorry, it's Ken Casey and Al Barr. Any fan of Dropkick Murphys has no doubt, their voices are unmistakeable AND they are credited. Obviously if there were any bad blood it was years ago as this album is a tad old. . .
