Lyrics:

Colder than flesh
Stronger than thought
I dance with the demon
And your dream ends dark

Hunting at night
Blood is my art
Red in sight
I'm killing in parts

A pull of the trigger
And then you're gone
Recoil kicks back
My work is done

Blood sweet blood
I follow my needs
Desecrate your carcass
And watch as it bleeds

Past killing
A season turned in red
Past killing
The art of a man

A soft gentle move
Powered by hungry flesh
Death will be, blood I'll see
Dreams can't last forever;
I'm forcing death to be
Watch you bleed

  • Another great metal upload smeared with childish fighting in the comment section. Get over yourselves douchebags.

  • Probably the best song on the album.

  • @shockofhyperbole not necessarily, but most of them will. and when i find some good crossover thrash... mmmmm..

  • @Roughsauce And pretty much any sludge metal band will have punk influence. Superjoint Ritual, High on Fire, Corrosion of Conformity, The Melvins, etc.

  • @shockofhyperbole i posted those comments a while back when i wasn't as musically voiced and variated as i am now... I understand haha.

  • @Roughsauce Metal and hardcore do overlap, and fairly well if done correctly. Just look at the NY death metal scene. Pretty much every NYDM band has influence from either northeastern hardcore or european grindcore. Dying Fetus and Suffocation both are influenced by hardcore punk and Cannibal Corpse is influenced by Carcass style goregrind.

  • codio se godo

  • @deathblackthrashing good idea

  • @Roughsauce Well sorry, I disagree. Let us leave it there.

  • @deathblackthrashing no its just a shitty attempt at fusing metal and hardcore which are two seperate genres which should not be fused. it takes little or no talent to play metalcore, and it absolutely in no way a descendent of melodeath.

  • @Roughsauce I think you're just a genre hater. The guitars are not tuned any lower than MDM, mostly around B. It takes MDM style riffs, and adds a hardcore vibe, breakdowns and clean choruses. They do not use untheoretical arpeggios, there is no such thing as 'not real music', and they can play their instruments just as well as MDM musicians, because the music required to play is virtually identical. There aren't any other significant differences. Metalcore is a direct descendant of MDM.

  • @jiminey6969 Melodic death metal (at least this and the IF variants) is standard death metal with Iron Maiden/Judas Priest influence. Jesper of In Flames stated that was his intention when creating IF's music. Metalcore, as I said, is MDM with added breakdowns, hardcore vibe, and clean choruses.
