the fact that Leo got praised in J.Edgar, but got snubbed at the Oscars is unfair, instead they replaced him with Demian Bichir, a dark horse nominee who only has 3 noms for his movie, A Better Life. It just goes to show you that the Academy likes to pick their favorites, instead of the ones who truly deserve it! (the noms could also have to do with the sag awards, which is pretty weird)

As cynical as it may sound, Leonardo didn't win the Oscar because Ray Charles died before the Oscars were voted on. The Academy will always by buoyed by a death. Which is a shame, Leo definitely deserved it.

the fact that leonardo dicaprio has roles like 'what's eating gilbert grape?' and 'the aviator' and yet has zero oscars completely falsifies the oscars. both are incredible feats of acting - leo was ROBBED by jamie foxx this year
