The roots plant is taller, and the better plant, you screwed something up with the roots, and it doesn't need water (you over watered it), stick your finger into the soil about 2 inches down and inch or so from the edge of the pot, if you feel moisture the plant does not need to be watered. I grow with Roots Organics, it is not perfect, but it does not look like the plant you have up there. Also, you must add calmag to the roots line, if not you will have problems in early flower.

I would be much more stressed out then you sound about that droopy plant. Maybe too much ppm, resulting in lockout. Its def not drinking

pots are to small for the plants and the roots soil holds water longer than any medium ive ever used trying using a overflow dish and just fill the dish and let the plant take the water as it needs make sure u dont leave the water in there for more than a day root rot. That roots soil plant is overwatered and root bound thats it iam sure of it

@thegrowhole are you dechlorinating your water tap water is very harmful otherwise what is your ppm
-
THIS IS NOT ACCURATE, ROOTS DOES NOT MAKE YOUR PLANTS SAG! She is obviosly not used to using their line... NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE TAP WATER!!! IT kills your microlife! It will make your organic grow suck!

Thanks for sharing your video, however cannabis grows great in every medium, as long as it has the correct amount of nuets, water, air, light ect. Unfair statment to say this is due to the soil. Soil on its own will not cause a plant to droop over like that or cause the yellowing on the plant. These problems are caused by minor mistakes by the hand that feeds it which can be corrected in the future. Good luck and keep it up.
Hey craigo - my water ph is naturally 6.5 - 6.7 straight out of the tap. I check it often just to be sure but the idea here is how far can these two different soils (one is a hand-mixed blend) get a person with only tap water and nothing else. In theory, since both contain lime to buffer ph, all should be well. As we have seen it took a few weeks before both plants started showing signs of needed changes. I would really really like to find a true mix that requires tap water only until bloom.

That was the Green Crack talking - I kinda drifted off for a bit lol. If I had been thinking straihgt I'd never shown anyone those poor yellow plants. They won't be that way long, though - next time I'll have to update their progress as well ; )
