  • @chiosex I too have buggered things up trying to do things that in reality would never work! just go through the steps in your head and before modifying the actual plane go over where you could put the stuff. Is this the eflite trojan your talking about? The foam one? Someone in my club has one, you don't by any chance go to nomansland flyers do you? :)

  • @vanepico I've got the ply, a generic dremel (its great and was ver cheap) and at least 3, maybe 4 micro servos spare lying around (a micro spit i wrecked and a 4g3 that works but i dont mind sacraficing it), I will look into it, still scared though, lol, I've ruined a few planes trying things but I think I will give it a go. I f you could send me some pics of your install I would very much appreciate it.

  • @chiosex Then you just need to sort out where the wheels will recess into.

  • @chiosex Go for it, get some GWS retracts, some 1/8" lite ply and a dremel/generic rotary tool with small saw blade (oh and a trio of micro servos). Get the retract sets and make some 1/8" liteply plates they can screw into which are about twice as big as the retracts (for added surface area and therefore strength). Draw round them onto the fuse where they will be located and slice this out with the rotary tool. Sort out the servo wire runs and pushrods and epoxy the plates in place.

  • very nice, like the lowish speed of the retracts, I would love to fit some to my T28 Trojan but I would just make a mess of it, lol.

  • yeah, but still

  • Lol it hit the conservatory door, got a nice big dent in it now :)

  • Lol, you do know its foam don't you? :)
