Paul, did you "tap" this baby a couple of times first? A good HARD tap? Did this horse ever get the message after you left? The other two in the video didn't look like they had a clue of how or what to do with this horse. Very intimidated by this baby. I would be too!!! As usual, you were great. Jen

Hi Jen, these guys tried to start the horse a few times but she did them in and really did a job on their confidence. There wasn't much I could do for the horse in one visit but I did manage to show the guys she wasn't a deadloss and to keep at it.

Uh, this horse had one shot to get broke or get eaten - before you comment, you ought to try to get a little background and know what you're talking about. This isn't some kid's pony in someone's backyard, it's a racehorse in Japan who has a distinct possibility of being someone's dinner if someone didn't "break his spirit" pretty quick. (And I'd say 30 mins was pretty quick - good job, Paul.)

my horse has been bucking like this and im at such a loss of what to do. Its only when hes in the canter. He gave my friend a concusion and has ruined my confidence in riding him

haha loved it! really nice job. some people just dont get it but some horses need the "get to the point and bite the bullet" type of training. I like how you do it.

I watched it a couple more times. I've ridden out some bucks in my day but you topped the cake on that one. I don't know how I've missed this video in the past but I sure enjoyed it today. Thanks for the reply. Jen
