I just switched from win7 to my favorit Ubuntu with gnome, and I was wondering if I shuld try any linux with KDE as well... But it apears to me, that with compiz fusion, the only thing that KDE offers me is, is transparent windows.

@xXDarkice Don't compare Ubuntu with Arch. Ubuntu is aimed for n00bs and Windows users...

@JayandJenn07 true true . im getting a laptop to try linux for the first time and arch's principles are what lured me to linux in the first place! ~ customization and choice!! :)

@cidcarioca yes. a little bit. but don't forget that video recording slows system too. so "-" and "-" give us "+" :D

that's not my fault anyway. gtk video recorder speeds up video for some reason
