live bait is the best to use for kingfish. my boat has pump which sucks water from outside the boat then into the bait tank, then the overflow out of the boat again. it keeps the water fresh and your live bait healthy. you can use an airator if you wish, just a battery operated one will do, all tackle shops sell them. as a general rule 1 airator per 10 baits will be sufficient, however every 20 mins you must empty half your tank and replace with new water to keep bait healty. hope that helps you

@BigR000 yes try off the warf next to the boat ramp at rose bay, but you have to go there before sun up, an hour before sun up is your best bet, put a couple of slices of white bread and mix with water in a bucket and tip some into the water, you'll have yellowtail there in no time, and cast out 1.8 to 2gram squid jigs off the warf and slow retrieve in, try to fish from around the light poles, hope this helps, if you need any more info let me know. good luck

where do you catch those squids in the harbour?

@lebokiller1 try around clarke and shark islands in the harbour, you must find the weed beds, also try under the spit bridge while it is still dark

squid is way too good to eat brother. It makes the best kingfish bait.
