@CwmbranCrusader i know you're not stupid enough to assume i meant a 2 year old. i was talking in general, though even if i were vegetarian i would allow my children to eat what they chose. if they decided it was a bad decision later, at least it would have been their choice. the same with if they decided to become vegetarian.
the rest of your comment would appear to be word salad.
@infraball How can you give a two year old the opportunity " to make their own educated decisions " ? If you give them a Kalashnikov and ' educate ' them to hate another... We see the outcome most days in the West, usually in a poor country far away. This goes on across the world. But it don't make it right. Beliefs, education, religion, it's all about control! In your heart you know what's right or wrong. Murder will always be murder. Wake the fuck up!
if everyone was veggie, it would end world starvation, meat is more expensive to 'produce' and uses far more resources with a higher ecological impact on the planet
@bluesparky72 i wouldn't know, most people just view it as sustenance and can't afford to pick and choose what to eat. a very small percentage of us in the world are actually privileged enough to have enough food on our tables every day when most might even see meat as a luxury.
@infraball , education is what we both agree on, but what percentage of meat eating parents do you think give that choice to their children, I bet it's very very low...

@bluesparky72 there is a large difference between raising people on your own beliefs and allowing to make their own educated decisions.

@infraball , or educate children where meat comes from, instead of force feeding them and telling them it's OK to kill.

hurray! deprive your own children of their choice to eat meat and force your own beliefs upon them. great job, sadie. i'm rooting for you.
