One monk in Sri Lanka said buddhism can be described better with the words "self psychotherapy" than religion or philosophy.

The Latin word for "religion" - as, anyway, I remember it from the Catholic sister who tried to teach me that language - could also be translated as "to link together." "Linked" isn't quite as bad as "bound". We ARE all linked together - aren't we? This, then, would be what religion means - being aware of that fact... Not that bad, is it?

@E2bling94 you're ignorant, man. The Buddha is not a God. He is a human like us, but much more wiser and is like a teacher for people in life. Please do more research before badmouthing another religion. Also, the cover of a book does not matter. So if Jesus were fat, you wouldn't follow him? hah, you just got owned my friend.
