@ooommmiii Probably corrosion and mechanical damage by loosen protection shields. What aftermarket? Do you know something particular? That Forester isn't mine - I have Outback :-)

Simple spoken: Need dual catalytic converter for Outback 2.5 MY2001. What do you recommend? Original part is too much expensive.

@ooommmiii I think that VDC equipped version have always VTD.
So, If you are serviceman, how do you recommend me to repair broken exhaust - CAT part. CATs are OK, but pipes are broken... Do you recommend some aftermarket part? Bandel? Give me advise, pls.
