Replica Dorothy Ruby Slippers made by Tracy

This is my second pair of Ruby slippers which have a more authentic look, but still not an exact copy of shoe. I was so lucky in finding these shoes from ebay that were orignially a White satin bridal shoe, the original lady had them professionaly dyed Red.

Mum & I together again glued the sequins strands on diagonaly row by row using hot glue, you have to be quick at applying the sequin strand onto the glue before it sets & goes cold.

We used metallic Red sequins this time & I made the bows myself using swarovski 4mm round crystals to decorate the outside & 3 Rectangle Swarovski crystals for centre of bow.

Hi yes, they were 5mm wide plain metallic Red sequins I used on this pair, the other first pair I made with the straps were the same size but with Holographic sequins. Although the Holographic sequins were not as authentic, they sure did sparkle more.

Hi thanks, i'm not selling these, but I have some more size 5's on ethe way the same style as these. They are being dyed Red at the moment ready for attaching the sequins. I hope to have them ready to sell on ebay at the end of July, though they do take a lot of hard work, I need to order some swarovski crystals to use on my bows. I will store your message on here & when the next pair of shoes are finished I will let you know.
