Coniferous Trees in the Forest

Filmed: October 24, 2010. Out walking in the forest in the Eastern Townships Region of the Province of Quebec, Canada about 20kms from Lac Megantic just north of the northwest corner of the State of Maine, USA. The forests are a mix of softwood coniferous trees such as pine, spruce and fir and hardwood deciduous species such as maple and birch. It is a treat to walk about in solitude, hearing nothing man-made, only birds singing, a babbling brook and the wind rustling through the trees. Heaven on earth.
