I need to look at my relationship to food. I decided to make some changes to the food I eat. I removed diet soda from my menu and added more veggies ( I try to have 50 or 75 percent of my meal be veggies and the last 25 percent be made up off carbs/protiens and fats). I have been doing this a month. I was swimming or walking once a week before.. now I am swimming 4 to 5 times a week. I have a swim partner and that really helps me stay motivated. this week we are not just swimming and playing in the water, we are following a specific exercise plan for 45 minutes to a hour. We kept in light swimming and movement for the rest of the swim time. total exercise and free swim each day is 1 1/2 hours. We follow this up with a 15 soak in the hot tub! This is going good! I drink about 6 glasses or more of h2O every day (24 -32 oz glasses). I dont want this to be about weight loss. I want this to be about feeling better, being healthier and living longer. I want to change my relation ship with food.. not just temporarily.. but permanently!
