  • Cool tutorial! The central point that needs stressing is that the wire needs to be isolated from it's neighboring wires. Hence the magnet wire that has an isolating varnish. If you were to use regular old copper wire it wouldn't work because any induced current will short out immediately within the coil.

    Love this series, keep them coming!

  • @wasoota Thanks, You are 100% correct, I forgot to mention the importance of the electrical isolation. I'll put a note on the video.
