  • I'm surprised they let you do weapons work at the Kasugai gardens... did you need to obtain a permit or did the security guy just leave you alone ?

  • Thanks for the interest

Give me a call and I can fill you in on the detials

    Cheers

  • I expect that I will, I made a point of perusing you website and I liked what I saw.

That said, there is no info regarding costs, frequency of training (schedule lists many classes), or dojo location.

Your site also recommends that a prospective student be forward in asking about teachers' qualifications (an excellent point) yet there is no 'mini-biography' type section regarding the head sensei. That would be a nice addition, and I don't think it would come off as tooting your own horn.

  • Let me introduce myself, my name is Randy Martin.

Thanks for the kind words, and actually taking the time to go to the website and peruse it.

The website is a work in progress, and soon will have the added pages you have suggested.

I tried to reply to all your questions and comments in your reply, but there is not enough room to type everything I have to say. IF you email me, I will answer all your questions for you.

The reply has to be less than 500 characters.

    Sincerely

    Randy Martin

  • The sound will be fixed really soon, then you can see much more of it anytime you like.

Contact me personally if you would like to see more where that came from.

  • well it's been 2 weeks and there is still no sound. What you should do is delete the video and use a more commonly available codec.

  • Thanks

I am on it and it is will be finished soon.

  • I see these kind of encounters as life or death, with the assumption that the aggressor intends to beat you to death. Rather have 5 months of training in 30 things that work, and re-trained mindset than the black belt but no clue how to take control etc .

    Thanks..

  • Best way to win a street fight is to not have one. do you also teach/train the person's mindset? Eg: Initial encounter... when the thug is setting you up to jump you. Some people freeze, some hesitate... yet the guy who just got out of the army takes him down. He doesn't have a lot of moves, but his thinking process are re-programmed from the timid "What do you want?' to 'the kiaai and first (and usually last) move.

  • umm... You can actually just walk in and sign up for jujitsu in Japan if you wanted... lol Your thinking of like some Shaolin Chinese racist dont like white people tempol lol In Japan you can walk into a Jujitsu gym and sign up, pay the monthly fee and train that day xD Its called running a bussiness =P

  • 2:10 nice beetle I have 2 a 54oval and a 1970 1300, she can come too!

  • You do realise that if you wanted to enter a decent dojo in Japan, you would spend months watching at the window and begging the instructor for a chance to try out. I find it amusing when people aren't willing to do their own footwork in finding quality instruction. You go to it, it doesn't come to you.
