I once made the mistake of going to the cinema to see "The Phantom of the Opera", and I was truly staggered at the bland mediocrity of the music, plot, and everything else. My guess is that this sketch is a fairly accurate reconstruction of how Lord Baron Sir Andrew came up with the main theme. That this work is the most successful theatrical production ever is quite perplexing.

Anyway, now you too can make millions, because towards the end of this video, I give you a free insight into how you can play like Andrew.

It was while viewing the footage for this video that I first learned that I now have a bald patch. Video can be cruel, but informative.

  • You should take a good look at the combined score for the whole orchestra.

  • @DiabolusIgnis When there's paint I can listen to drying?

  • This is exactly how I write music

  • @lotoreo Thank you for your input, Lord Webber.

  • "This music is practically writing itself!"

  • @brianfer123 I'm sure that you are right, and that everything you wrote demonstrated both maturity and attractiveness to women in you.

  • "Sarah, dear, come take a look!"

  • Dang-

  • many people like rubbish and they actually think it is brilliant because some pseudo hip people say it is good.

it is a good point you made.

  • Never underestimate the power of the chromatic scale.

  • I was definitely getting a Mr. Bean vibe off this video. Not a bean fan myself but this was a lot of fun. Also that bit at the end about picking any note really made my jaw drop. I know nothing about music so I was actually amazed that's all their was to the song.

  • @lindybeige I missed your point completely, I'm afraid.
