It is called a K'ni Fiddle. It is made with a long stick of bamboo and a single string (not sure what material the string is). The string is ran down the shaft of the bamboo to a base, then ran to a mouth piece. They change the tones with frets for the string on the bamboo as well as changing the aperture of their mouth to change the pitch.
