This is awesome but I'm not too keen on the rasping noise made by the bowing action... this doesn't seem to be present in all performances, is it to do with the bow, the blade or the playing?

Beautiful sound,do you what make the saw is? I play a Sandvic but is a lot shorter than the one being played. Is it a Singing Blade made in France?

It looks like it is..I've only saw them in France. They're called lame sonore (musical blade) and not scie musicale (musical saw)
