Do you know if Doc Hudson had died in the movie Cars 2?

@viniciushx They reference him, and it's pretty clear that he's no longer in Radiator Springs. It's never clarified whether or not he actually died, but it's not totally out of the ballpark to assume that's the case.

@butternutcrunch Well, yes. I knew that, but we were just talking about what happened to the character in the context of the film. We know why he's not in it, but we were discussing what happened to Doc Hudson in the Cars universe. If that makes any sense...

@ZeroApostle4Ever Paul Newman died so Doc Hudson was not in Cars 2. But I saw a picture of him about what happend to him on his last Piston Cup race. I saw that move twice so I am telling the truth.
