"Ë Hatta A Beta Apebba" comes from Bioko Island, off the coast of Equatorial Guinea. Sung mostly in the native African language of Bubi, with additional lyrics in Spanish, "Ë Hatta" tells the story of a woman crying out across the ocean to her lost sister who has passed away. Our arrangement is based off the original version by Hijas Del Sol, an aunt and niece duo from Equatorial Guinea.

gracias por tu comentario. esta canción es de guinea ecuatorial que está en áfrica centro-occidental. las cantantes originales se llaman "hijas del sol." la canción habla de dos hermanas. una está muerta y la otra está llorando para ella.

Beautiful!! Is there any way I can find lyrics to this song, in its original language(s)? I have the CD and was disappointed to find that the lyrics are in English. I have looked all over the web (and I mean everywhere!) and cannot find them. I've tried contacting the business manager of Talisman and have not gotten an answer. Can anyone help me?
