Good grief, the things you do to get attention! The old cowboy classic "Red River Valley", with it's origins dating back as far as the late 1800's (!!), totally 'murdered' by yours truly and beats per minute going like a turbo charged rocket right through Johnny & The Hurricanes 1959 instru hit! I don't know what I was thinking about when I cut this one during my by now infamous '97 living room sessions (using a 6-track Sansui cassette recorder, a manually triggered Alesis rack drum unit and a Charvel HM solid body, period!!)? Possibly I was running out of tape and had to speed things up 'a bit'! Incidentally, if you've been with me for awhile you might recognise this version as part of one of the 3 Frostie videos I did several months back (Frostie = the planet's hardest working cockatoo, with a dance routine that'll end all dance routines!! Check his site out at 'One Pickie Chickie') and which I had to delete because Frostie's 'owners' suddenly threaten me with a copyright infringement, even though they had originally given me free hands to 'use him' in the videos I made! Strange but true!
Anyway, here I go again with a 'brand new' version...so start your engines, fasten your seatbelts and let's rock to the old perennial favorite, "Red River ROCK" (great balls of fire, I'm already gasping for breath and the damn thing hasn't even started yet...now where's the Play button...oh, yes...here we gooOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hank C...
