Street Children Project Lombok Indonesia - Peduli Anak (Child Care) Foundation

Street children live under terrible conditions. They experience (sexual) child abuse, violence, and child exploitation. Despite all that, they have to survive. They usually beg and sing hoping people would give them money.
The Peduli Anak Foundation serves homeless and impoverished children by offering them a new path in life. By providing them with the necessary shelter, education, and psychological support directed towards vocational training, mentorship, and micro-credit opportunities, it strives to enable their re-entery into the community as happy and self-sufficient adults. This short film is about Sugeng a 11 year old boy living in the shelter of Peduli Anak.

Yes, I made the this short promo film together with Martina. Hopefully we will get support as result of it, financial support which we need very urgent at this moment of global crisis what cause that the donations has drop dramatically.

I didn't see anything about the children's religion. Are they Muslims? Have you converted them to Christianity?

Most of the children are muslim and of course all the muslim children pray 5 times a day. And not only that, we also teach them how to read the Koran and other religious-related activities. I realized that I made the promotion movie and only put the dinner prayer scene inside. Why not the 5 time prayers? In my opinion, it is enough to show the spiritual activity in the foundation, given the limited time of the movie (10 mins).

Another reason is that our organization is neutral in religion, we are not religion based. However, we teach and support them to perform their religious activities based on their faith. If I want to make this video complete I should make it 20 minutes long and show all the religions activities, unfortunately I could not do that. I hope you understand. Your organization seems like a great place for homeless kids. I think President Obama needs to visit this place when he visits Indonesia.

Children should NEVER be exposed to psychopathic / sociopathic Pedophiles etc. Children should enjoy being a kid ... playing with their friends , going to DISNEYLAND ..... those that put these kids in any exposure to molestations, abuse, etc.. should be PUT TO DEATH ! .... you heard me !!!
