Cover tune (Whiskey Weed & Women)

Whiskey Weed & Women by Hank Williams III, is a hurtin' tune. I just love his stuff....it's quite a collection he has and powerful lyrics. He has a lot to say about himself or those he knows. He was in Vancouver this June but I just couldn't see him....a bar (not big enough) and mostly attended by very young folks, soldout except for 50 tickets to be sold for that evening for those who would have had to stand for hours and see if you could get in. Likely, no seats, etc. I decided to buy a few cds and listen to him at home on the stereo. Maybe the next time he will play a bigger venue that I can attend. One can hope.

Awesome! I was not aware of this song -- but it sure seems like Hank jr. jr. is a chip off the prior two old blocks! You do a fine job no this -- it helps to have a great voice!!!

Yes it would seem that he shares some of his grandfather's past-times. His voice has amazing and hauntingly the same attributes.  Thanks again.
