  • love hug bug... LMFAO

  • Im glad Sandra Pupatello retired. The likes of her ignorance wont be affecting our society any longer

  • its funny people like to compartmentalize, a RAVE is a RAVE, its is an all night dance party, the venue has little to do with it, except maybe a RAVE implies a larger venue,it could be 20,000 or 2000, its still a rave...

  • when 18 people overdosed and died at a Rolling Stone concert in the 70s, did they stop rock concerts?

  • @t1mTV sup iain.

Why would you say only the illegal parties today count as "raves"? As far as the general organization, culture, and music, what exists today really isn't all that different from what was going on 10 or 15 years ago, except that there are fewer people involved.

  • @monkeyronin Toronto has a lot of parties, but very few raves. The only events I would really call a rave are the illegal ones.

  • Destiny is still throwing parties...

And those "new Gino club raves" ain't raves at all (I'm assuming you're talking about the kinda stuff that goes on at the Guverment and whatnot). Raving as it was when this took place still exists in a fairly similar manner in TO, just that its focused on smaller, less mainstream-friendly parties (faster, harder music basically).

  • I miss Syrous, Dose, Liquid Adrenaline, Destiny, and all the other good promoters that used to throw proper parties!

These new Gino club raves suck with fuckin fancy ass dress codes and bottle service :(

I miss being 17 and listening to good music all night with my friends and meeting random friendly faces
