Videoing commuter trains in Dallas, the system called: DART - Dallas Area Rapid Transit.

Off happening: after videoing the trains while driving home about two blocks from the trains, I was stopped by the Dallas Police and questioned about my reason for videoing the trains. Nothing happened beyond being stopped and questioned. Homeland Security was blamed.

I can't believe it :O, so train in Dallas are yellow!, I'm from México, I've never visited USA, but I had a dream tonight, I was in Dallas TX, and I was going to take a flight to NY, I was late, in fact I lose mi flight, I felt terrible, but I saw a train exactly like this, and yellow!. I don't remember seen anything about Dallas, not about trains, in fact I've not been thinking in Dallas. I was in the station and I saw a bridge above the train, ¿does it exist too? =)

I love it! Three car trains, now with each car having a low floor center section.

Ah I see. In Dublin CIÉ electrified existing commuter lines. It look as thought the Dallas Area Rapid Transit was thought of first but the Dublin Area Rapid Transit was built first. Thanks for the infformation.

The have a few different light-rail lines, and the first one opened in the mid 1990's. When DART established in the 1980's there were no rail lines, they had to build them.

Sorry, but what do you mean the 'first rail line'? The other DART was opened in 1984 so it looks like they were opened at around the same time.

No problem, I did not think you were rude. DART was established in he early 1980's and I think the first rail line was in the mid 1990's.

Ok, I hope you don't think I was rude, I was just curious. What year was the Dallas Area Rapid Transit opened?
