  • My 7th grade teacher used to have us do this before we did Tai Chi. She said to meditate, and breath in a white ball of positive energy through the nose and fill the belly, then release all the negative energy from head to toe. I loved it, and I've been doing it ever since.

  • @theycallmekeif What do you mean by using the proper bhandas? I searched for it on google but can you give me an easy explanation?

  • should mention that the numbers are not as important as the fact that you are taking conscious control of your breath. In general, there is benefit from taking measured, long inhalations, holding them as far as is comfortable and then releasing them slowly. but holding an exhalation for longer than is natural is not a priority. As Dan points out there it is best to balance out our breaths in eight counts, just as we do in music, and once did in many things before the metric system.

  • anyone who smokes pot as therapy should try this instead for a week!

    it helps to acidify the body and cleanse the blood and feed your cells with oxygen. By getting better at breathing, you destress your life and you do not bring out any bad energy force caused by breathing incorrectly, so you must do it properly too.
