  • Too heavy ,too GOOD ...too soon. Not what the promo dept. had in mind ,never will be you know.Lifetime lunch boxes ?

  • oh yeah - it's so damned good - so far ahead of its time - maybe, just maybe, we've finally caught up with it. Mind boggling drumming - fusion before the term was ever conceived. Jack Bruce lays down the heavy groove so McLaughlin can fly into space. Larry Young is brilliant. Who ever played the organ like that?? Tony - you inspired so many less worthy imitators. A work of genius. Thanks for posting.

  • @dannyofthededd

nah... its in my mind too...

  • tony williams, john mclaghlin and jack bruce (and is it lenny white on the organ?)..what a fewkin band...sounds like the theme tune to an old bbc television series about interdimentional detectives on a speedball binge which only exists in my mind

  • this in actual time , and in retrospect is incredible , creepy , brooding , acid trip like , dissonant and dark , and powerful and haunting some of the ugliest guitar i have heard , ugly in a great way , and those freaky bent notes , goodness what planet did these guys just back from ... I love this stuff , grade A+++

  • Smokin' Hot Rockin' Fusion! One of the greatest drummers ever in contemporary music. And one of the best periods in music - the 70's jazz/rock/fusion/progressive era. It's still just as entertaining 35 years later. Thank you so much for posting this!

  • so good,mind twisting!:)

  • Brilliant. One of John McLaughlin's best ever solo's.
