when I was small I thought fly fishing is when you tie a fly on your line and let it land in the water as it flys then the fish jump and eat it then it hangs onto the line then you pull it back.

Thank You. Had a hard day at work, and watching this vid gives me hope. Helps me to keep things in perspective. Spring is coming, and the fish will still be there.

yes. We wear light-weight waders. Actually a tube is not necessary to reach most of the fish which are near shore.

What do you guys use for bear protection in these parts?

Not a problem as long as you keep food suspended from a tree away from your tent. Never had a bear problem. Mosquitoes - now that was a problem.
