Since we think this movie is superb, we wanted to feature the original trailer.
Yeah, most people think it's not a good picture, some even use the word poor. We think it's because it's not light and shallow as most action movies are. It's dark and leaves things unsolved. No real plastic heroes, just real cops who go through the difficulties of working undercover.

Me and my friend were just talking about movies where the trailers kind of overhyped it. I loved this film but the trailer definitely gives off a false impression :(

Seriously, the making of feature films out of TV series must be one very difficult decision for Hollywood, if done badly.

I'm a professional cameraman, no matter what anyone may think about this film,
the camera work is without a doubt visually stunning. This movie is one of my top favorites.

the plots in michael mann movies tend to be kinda complex and hard to follow upon the first viewing which makes them difficult to appreciate immediately. the vast majority of people who say miami vice blows have only seen it once and/or can't get past colin farrell's somewhat overbearing performance and/or were expecting a remake of the tv show. amazing cinematography, beautifully shot, great action sequences. it separates itself from the popular tv show and transcends it in every way.
