  • If I remember correctly, I think you get summons at level 80.

Haven't played this game in a long time, though... could be wrong.

  • at risk of being torn limb from limb by FFX fanboys, i dare say that WA5 is better than FFX. and yes, i've played, and love, both of them. i just like WA5 better.

  • @TwilightAdy i agree 100%

  • @jinjino1 I'd agree they messed up the story in WA5 big time, it was a big let down for me. The rest of the game, however, was spectacular.

3 was pretty great though, I enjoyed both the story and the gameplay - was basically a 3D update of the original Wild Arms.

4 was a bit different, but it was plenty enjoyable for what it was - almost a half-platformer-half-RPG.

  • @TwilightAdy not really unlike wild arms 3 that went on 4 ever like an anime, then the ending was horrible like wild arms 5, and i didnt say they were bad to me, thats what most reviews say about them

  • @jinjino1 Actually, based on review averages it goes: Wild ARMs (82%), Wild ARMs 3 (77%), Wild ARMs 5 (73%), Wild ARMs 4 (73%), Wild ARMs 2 (68%). If you meant "in my opinion 4 and 5 were the worst", then I disagree - 3, 4 and 5 were my favourites.

Also, go through and play 10 again. You'll be surprised how linear it is - no world map, no ship to fly and lots of corridors to run down. I recognise that people love it, but it's probably one of my least favourite videogames ever.

  • @TwilightAdy actually no, wild arms 4 and 5 were the worst of the series and 10 was amazing and ppl still love till this day

  • @jinjino1 On the SNES and PS1, Final Fantasy was definitely the grandfather of all RPG's. The games were truly amazing. On the PS2 however, the 2 Final Fantasies that were released were both really, really disappointing.

X was just an atrocious corridor-fest with stereotypical characters while XII was devoid of any kind of a decent story. And by contrast, Wild ARMS 3, 4 and 5 are some of the best JRPG's produced in a long time.

Imo, the Final Fantasy series has definitely seen better days.

  • @TwilightAdy Wild Arms 5 the down fall of the series and wild arms is never gonna be better than the FF which is the Grandfather of all RPG'S and at least the FF series is still continuing and have 28 or over and still growing strong and sold 100 million units, so sorry i dont agree with that statement but still have love for the wild arms series and hope a new one

  • @zolo1243 Wild Arms 3 was a much better game than FFX, that was released around the same time. WA5 was just more proof that this series had surpassed FF in every way by the time of the PS2. I look forward to WA6, but it seems kinda unlikely by this point.

  • ouf wild arms 3 summons make these guys look like donkey crap

  • @eyeMsogr8 yeah whats goin on with that??

thats what i thought when watching this too haha
