i just downloaded a new app store icon an sent it to img2img app an selected icon. and when it saves it to desktop it saves it as icns file, then i went to app store info an triued to drag an drop into the image an it wont change it :S i did garage band icon an that changed. am i doing something wrong?

i had candy bar first when i got my mac then i seen it was a trial version, then i tried liteicon an that was ok but some icons wouldn't change after applying or logout. i hope this works good for me.
