My mom worked on that project for years, then it was canceled. It was such a cool thing too. It was fun growing up with it.

The keyword is indeed capitalizing. These projects are rife with politics deciding which contractor to use and pay with the government's money. Not 1 cent is gained in profit. The number one reason for those cancellations is cost. Often times some bullshit reason is coughed up claiming a project isn't safe when in fact it is but the cost is too high.

The future of space travel will be private companies providing transportation services to the public. It will be safe and it will be sustainable.

Don't flatter yourself, we have relief programs ranging from Government funded to free market nonprofit to college support. I wasn't thinking of Africans when i posted my comment by the way, white people live off the system as well. lastly why would the US feel obligated to feed the world? Would u personally right now take out a 20 thousand dollar loan to feed people of your community? it wouldn't make sense since its way out of your budget

wow thats quite an argument. In all honesty i was hoping that u would discredit my country with more than just bringing in the stats of the scum of society, the US has vast "ghettos" with people surviving off food stamps and welfare. obviously i know more about economics and what order the government of the four world Super-Powers stands in.
