I feel your pain, man. We got a siberian cat when I was 11, which at the same time was one of the hardest times in my life. He became the only reason I got up and put up with all the shit in my life. I can honestly say, I grew up with him always on my side.
When I hit 18, I left to do my time in the military. He died one day before I got home on my first leave.
I'm now 21 and not a day goes by without me missing him.

@SpadeAce90 aren't you a bit young to be trolling youtube? Your mommy might get angry with you watching all of the breast-feeding videos. That's a cheap way to get off but hey we all have our vices.

He passed on at only 6 years old?? I felt sorry for myself as my big boy (also a Maine Coon) passed on at barely 9 years old!!

I wanna train my cat like that now! He's a Maine Coon and sooo smart. He comes when you call and waits for us at the door when we're coming home from work.

What makes him so cute is how much he enjoys get congratulated, and how each time he's almost gloating about his skill. It's very cute.
My son had a Maine coon cat. I took care of him when my son was finishing college, went to Air Force officers training, met his wife and got married. In all that was 8 years. I want to tell you about him. My son was stationed in Texas and I was living in VA. When 9/11 happened my son was sent overseas in Dec 2001. About a week after he left Texas the cat came up to me and wanted me to follow him upstairs. He wanted in my son's bedroom. He slept there every night my son was overseas.

@MsFlyinglady wow that's incredible - it really amazes me how perceptive this breed is. How emotional they are, too. When I was very sick, I was in bed all day, and Ipkiss stayed by my side the entire time. Did not leave at all. He knew I wasn't myself, and he reacted so incredibly caring.
