Part I of a series of incredible images of the cosmos from the Hubble Telescope, accompanied by versions of the Ave Maria, sung by Anne Milligan. This "Ave Maria" is the Bach version. The awesome magnificence of the universe breaks open our limited vision, and compels us to wonder at the fragile nature of our own planet, hanging in the balance, at the total mercy of the elements that sustain us. Via the path of a newer "Creation Spirituality" may we be forgiven for the damage we have done to our planet, and may we receive Wisdom and guidance to protect it from further harm.

My Christmas prayer for the planet is that we all recognize our one-ness with each other, all over the world so we know that whatever we do, say, think, and pray has an absolute effect on everything and everyone else.
