Hawaiian Vacation Episode 11

(Selena's POV:)
I arrived at the beach, with it dark outside already. Nick and I looked like the only two on the beach. I walked up to him and he patted next to him. I sat beside him.
"How is it going cowboy?" I asked, turning my head towards him with a smile.
"It's going." Nick looked back at me with a small smile.
"Come on, I haven't seen you in over 5 months. I wanna know more about you." I shoved him playfully.
Nick laughed.
"What do you want to know?" Nick asked.
"How are you? How is Hawaii? Describe your girlfriend. Is she snotty? Is she a sweetheart? Does she not like your family? Has she met your family? How is business? Has anything changed? Any new buildings? What about you, do you have any new interest? I wanna know you.. again." I smiled hopeful.
"Well, you have pretty high expectations of what you want from he aye?" Nick looked at me.
I shrugged.
"Well, Hawaii is amazing, Business is good. I have a new job, which gives me the right to go anywhere on the island whenever I want. I'm making so much money, Marissa can be snotty, she can be a sweetheart. She has a bad side. I pay for her treatments, Botox, Lipo. She gets everything. Nails Done, Hair Done, Shopping Sprees." Nick sighed.
"Sorry." I looked at him.
"How are you? Justin? What is he like? Does he treat you okay? I don't have to worry about messin' this kid up do I?" Nick asked, grinning.
"Wipe that look off your face.." I laughed. "I'm amazing, I've never been happier. Justin is good too. He's amazing as well. Justin is my best friend. He treats me like like I'm a princess. And no, please don't mess him up. I love him."
"You love him huh?" Nick looked at me.
"Yeah, Don't you love Marissa?" I asked.
"Well, I've only been with her a month. I don't know about you, but love takes awhile to mature doesn't it?" Nick asked.
"We managed to say it in 4 weeks.." I stated.
"Do you think we were serious on it though?" Nick questioned.
"No..." I looked away.
"Look, I'm not trying to ruin any boundry between you and Justin. You can say I love you but I have my opinions about Love. You have yours. I learned my lesson. I love you, even if it was only 4 weeks. I learned a lesson though, I learned long distance relationships can never work for me. I'm not a girl but I like having my girl around. I don't like having free time and not being able to spend it with the girl I love. You left Hawaii. I didn't see you, which didn't give me any opprotunities. I was stuck." Nick sighed, staring in the sand.
"You can't possibly love me now Nick. We haven't talked in 5 and a half months. We both have met new people and you.. you seem happy with her. Plus, your finally making the money and the support of Marissa being there all the time, living in Hawaii is good for you. Remember when I was leaving, I told you I wouldn't be leaving California, Even if it was to be with you. Nick, 4 weeks and I loved you. I loved you and I didn't want to leave but I wasn't ready to give up 18 years of the place I grew up in, to move to an island with only knowing one person. A person I've known for 4 weeks. I wasn't comfortable with the idea. I'm sorry that I'm not Marissa, I didn't do what she did, move to Hawaii." I looked up with tears forming.
Nick knew I was upset, he wrapped his arm me and rubbed my arm to comfort me.
"I'm sorry." I cried into his shirt.
Nick laughed, after a minute. I let my tears soften up and then I looked up at him.
"What are you laughing at?" I asked.
"You. You have some way of some kind of liquid on my shirts. Weather it's coffee or your tears." Nick laughed.
I thought for a second then laughed through my tears. Nick smiled and rubbed my arm again. I started to feel comfortable again, in Nick's arms like I was 5 and half months ago. I lifted myself out of Nick's arms, my eyes completely locked in his.
Nick looked from my lips to my eyes, moved closer to me closing his eyes. I began doing the same thing. I kissed him, or Nick kissed me actually, I froze. I pulled back.
"No, No." I stood up quickly.
Nick stood up, freaking out like me.
"No, I can't. I didn't." Nick worried, his hands on his head.
I was flipping out.
Nick turned around, pulled me to him in my time of misery and kissed me again, I felt the urge and pressure to kiss him back. I quickly did then pulled away.
"Nothing.." Nick looked down.
I sighed, putting my hands onto my face.
"Chill." Nick sighed too.
"Chill? Chill?! Chill, Nick. We just kissed, twice!" I exclaimed.
Nick looked at me.
"So?" He asked.
"Soo, you're dating Marissa and I'm dating Justin. What will they say when they find out?" I asked.
"Who knows. Who cares. Who says they had to know." Nick stated.
"So, not cheat... but cheat?" I asked.
"We didn't cheat. It was just two small kisses to explore to see if we had anything there. We don't." Nick shrugged.
Couldn't wait for dinner tomorrow, Justin and Nick agreed to it.
