After a 6 month restoration, #40 on the NH&I located in New Hope, PA, is back on the rails, once again! This is about 1 week after it's 6 month restoration completion. The first scene was the first day of it's operation, all the others are of a week after. #40, besides the first scene, was going 20+ miles an hour. It was a real treat to see that! I am recording with a Flip HD Camira. Please have a fun watching and check back to my channel for diffrent videos of #40, and other steam locomotives in the area!

@rgerhardtembarq what about putting some equipment up for sale to increase funds

@Strasburg1991 Thay are slowly rebuilding the 10-wheeler. But about 1533, it is no doubt that it will need a BIG overhaul. It has been sitting their for 25+ Years! Boiler definetly, firebox, cab, wheels, driving rods, those are just the big things!

@rgerhardtembarq you never know, the only thing that 1533 needs is a new boiler, and some of the old eqipment could be put up for sale to raise the money, i could put my hands on that 10-wheeler

@Strasburg1991 A lot of money. It is rusting away in the back of the shed. A lot of parts are missing, and will probably need a lot of new parts. It might take 10-15 years if they would start now.

@rgerhardtembarq how much would it take for 1533 to be restored to operation
Strasburg1991 8 months ago
@Strasburg1991 It would be nice if 1533 would.
