  • Oh, sorry to bug you again, but I have a few more questions if you don't mind. How many rhinoplasties do you perform a week? Are there any specific methods or techniques you use that set you apart from other surgeons? And from the previous description, do you think I would need an opened or closed procedure?

  • @sarah27xo

Not a problem. Please go to our website for more information. My practice is dedicated to Rhinoplasty and that is 99% of my Plastic Surgeries so that is what makes my practice unique - I am not a "jack of all trades," I specialize in noses and the numbers vary anywhere up to 2, 4, 6 or 10 a week depending on time of year. I cannot tell you whether you need open or closed without seeing you but the open vs closed is not important. What is important is what needs to be done inside

  • I would first like to apologize for posting the comment multiple times, it wouldn't show that it posted so I thought perhaps it wasn't working. And I am much taller than my mother. I'm about 5'7 to 5'8, so I would say I should be done growing. Another concern of mine is cost, and I'm guessing that it varies depending on what is being done... If I were to get it, I would want a hump removal, tip refinement, and also the top section is pretty wide, so I would want that slimmed. (I can't remember

    Not a problem. :)

Cost is always an important factor. Some surgeons charge as little as $3K and others charge as much as $30K! It just depends. Do not make a decision just based on cost. Find a great surgeon and then do the surgery with him when the time is right and you can afford it.

  • Hello, I am a fourteen year old girl interested in rhinoplasty. I have done quite a bit of research on nose jobs, and I have a few questions for you if you don't mind answering. I understand that you prefer not to operate on girls until 16 years of age, however, I have read many other sources that say it is appropriate to operate on girls aged 14-15. I feel emotionally prepared to undergo such a procedure, but what are some of the physical signs that show readiness for a girl my age?

  • @sarah27xo

Hi. While I prefer 16-18 as the minimum age, I have offered and performed rhinoplasty on 14-15 year old boys and girls as well depending on their parent's support, their own mental maturity and their physical growth completion. If you are mature and your parents are OK with this and your height and development resembles your parents and there are no concerns that you may grow another 6-12 inches or more thereby changing your face then you can undergo a rhinoplasty but be safe!

The patient went home about 2 hours after the surgery was done. She had minimal bruises and swelling and hardly any pain at all. Pain is usually from "packing" and I do not routinely pack the nose after rhinoplasty. Her splint came off a week later but she had gone back to work even before her splint came off.
