Suicide isn't painless. Don't do it, please. Talk to people, ask stranger on the street if they'd mind if you'd kill yourself. Scream, yell, cry, kick the hell out of a pillow, but do NOT kill yourself! There is so much worth living for! There are so much people who love you or who'd be able to. People DO care. I care. that's one for sure. If you feel the need to talk to someone I'm always here for you. Please, you won't only hurt yourself by committing suicide.

you're right in some points of view.. but trust me people really don't care, there are too stressed by the hectic days. but I ask myself everyday when we will realize that spending time for someone is having time for yourself; you always kill yourself too late, so it is better if you don't do it. In the end... the strenght and trust is in ourself, deep inside there is a power which will activate us ..

I don't agree with you on the "people really don't care" point. There are always people who care. (Most of the) humans aren't heartless robots. Some of them ACT that way, but really, if they'd see a complete stranger on the edge of a high bridge or something, they'd try to stop him.

By the way, I think that it isn't a person's fault if he/she doesn't see a way to continue living. A human has such a big power, the will to live is so strong, it can only be killed by society.

they care, but on surface, just on surface. they don't care when a person, the soul needs the countenance, the back of somebody else.. just SEEMS to care. everybody is afraid in creating an inner connection and when are close to bend it, they draw back.

:) indeed. I often think people don't show themselves enough. We all have way to many masks. A mask for talking to your grandmother, one for your schoolmates, one for at your sport, on for your parents, one for this, one for that. I don't think I've ever seen the real person beneath.

People act so cold these days. Indeed as if they don't care about the rest of the world and the people living in it. Maybe we're just scared of the reactions. Don't kill yourself ;)

Yeah, he should've left this song alone. Manson didn't do it justice. He just took all the subtlety out of it. The beauty of the original was that it sounded cheerful, despite the grim lyrics. Manson turned it into a gothic mess.

I forget to blink, or move much at all, while listening to this song. I get the same from "These Days" covered by St. Vincent, "Bella Ciao" covered by Anita Lane, and Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind".

@MCrazygirl666 yea yea, it's just talking, you'll try hard, you'll get some new friends, get a job, you'll lead a pretty nice life, and quess what? depression still apeears, even when your relationships and generally life are OK:( and I don't kill myself because it's as meaningless as life-I'm just waiting, mocking at ordinary people, trying to have fun in this ridiculous universe

hey i like this song and im not suicidal but if you are then think of it like this EVERYONE IN THE HOLE WORLD has hectic days and when you do don't mean you kill your self over it don't commit suicide like when a football team don't win the suer bowl that team went through that hole thing and lost at the very end they didn't kill their self did they?think of it.
