4 Feet concrete slab
This is a job Danny has been working on. Laying concrete on both sides of our home. He sure works hard around here and I want to acknowledge this at this time. Between him working as an Eng. - working over-time since Hurricane Katrina, working for the Military- Lt. Colonel-30 years in... and working around the house. I do believe this concrete work is the most laborious. He truly is a hard working man--working on his self-made chain gang. Wanting only to get back home to, me, when he is finished for the day. I count myself, one lucky woman.
everyone has there own way of doing things

you should have put an expansion joint between your dried hard concrete and your new poured concrete.....the guys at work taught me never to have old conrete join new unless u have expansion joints between but...good work

A question: did you worry about expansion joints? Also, did you use the existing pad as the other side of the screed? Great job, I'm getting ready to pour an 8x10 pad at my house, any tips would be appreciated!!
