I'm thinking about my startup product being focussed on smartphones. Afterall, who do YOU know that doesn't own a smartphone, PC, tablet, MP3 player, ipod or laptop? NOBODY. Wifi has helped, hotspots make people seek out smaller more portable devices, and the internet enabled smartphone is like an office away from the office. If this was to work, I would then like to branch out into accessories, mp3 players, PC hardware & software, allsorts, batteries, cases, headphones, the list goes on.

I am thinking very seriously about taking advantage of the current climate and starting my own dot com business. I have a set of difficulties which relate to asperger's syndrome. These prevent me being employable on a traditional 'get a job' level, so I am considering a workaround, becoming a self employed internet trader. Ebay is just ONE outlet for people like me and Ben, other sites spring to mind, including ebid (one off joining fee) and Gumtree, and running from a personal site too.

Hello, have you heard of "DotCom Success Maximizer" (do a Google search for it)? On their website you can watch a useful free video. This guy has actually enabled me to earn money over the internet. Perhaps it will work for you as well...
