I can believe this. His parents' friends and elderly neighbors probably have no idea how to use a computer, so they hope he can help them unload those Steuben Glass puppies, old cookie jars, and various worthless tchotchkes from the Franklin Mint.
If he's smart, he'll take fees upfront. Who wants to buy a collection of 30 thimbles from the Franklin Mint? Or that Elvis "collectors plate" that the TV ad promised would be worth hundreds? Or the Dungeons & Dragons set?
